The artwork Empatia Líquida (Liquid Empathy) proposes an intimate dialogue between human and machine. The user awakens latent emotions within the system, which are revealed through sounds and vibratory patterns on the surface of water.
Each gesture triggers a cycle of resonance — a continuous flow in which the system responds, senses, and returns, generating an ongoing loop of sensory exchange. Within this space, empathy becomes liquid: fluid and visible. Empatia Líquida produces resonances where human and machine meet in an experience of shared empathy.
This work seeks to place the user within an improbable scenario, where the system manifests emotional states in constant transformation as a response to the visitor’s influence, while simultaneously aiming to affect the emotional state of those who engage with it. Through sound and visual effects, it strives to establish an empathetic connection with the individual present, offering a unique experience with each interaction.
Water, serving as an instrument of communication, delivers a responsive performance to the energy and pressure applied through human touch, rendering visible a phenomenon that ordinarily remains unseen.
